Border Collies will always be the breed for me, always. =] Corgis have also stolen my heart completely. Definitely my 2 favorite breeds, I especially love having one of each, because they compliment each other.

Heh. Still Border Collies. I've discovered quite a few other breeds and have developed a couple new loves, but Border Collies will probably always be my #1.

This is a really hard one for me. I love all animals and especially dogs. I have owned so many as a child. I had an Italian Greyhound named Pesto who thought he was a cat and I had a GSDX as well. I loved that GSDX more than any dog I ever owned. She loved me so much. I had an American Bulldog for a short while. My father didn't really trust her very much around me and the girl friends I always had over so we re-homed her with my neighbor. I still got to see her grow up. She was excellent with kids. I remember being so jealous of the boy that she lived with because she was MY dog first! LOL We had a poodle that was the yappiest thing I had ever seen. Loved her too! She recently passed 2 years ago. My hubby and I have been doing tons of research to find just the right breed for our family and activity level. I think that we hit the bullseye with Sam. SOOOOO to say that I have one favorite breed would be impossible. I like all furry four legged kids!

I secretly have a huge crush on the Afghan Hound! I will be owned by one before I leave this place :)

Alaskan Huskies, Seppala Siberians and Eurohounds.
Although technically, none are a breed to anybody but the dog sledding community :p

In general terms any:

Bulldogs
Mastiffs
Sighthounds

But I know far more dogs (of ANY breed) that I dislike than those that I like. Just as there are some dogs of breeds that I generally dislike that I like.

As of right now Greyhounds and Alapaha Blue Blood Bulldogs are my absolute favorite breeds. I wonder why. ;)

I am a lover of all dogs. I favor mixed breeds, and dogs that might get over looked for a good home due to there breeds. I currently love some mixed type of gsd "pitbull" and what I have is young boy that barks quite often but not all the time, he doesn't bark at people at the door, he barks at Merlin when that cat ignores him, he barks at the neighbor dogs when they won't chase him through the fence and he barks at me when he wants outside. And he barks at birds and squirrels in the trees. I keep telling him he won't be able to catch one if he barks at it but honestly I think he just wants to hump it or play with the. He thinks he is larger than life and that everyone want to play with him. And he is so smart training him is so easy even for an amateur like me.
