Get her to switch..there is much better food for the money. It is full of byproducts (and if you want a good scare google byproduct and pet food) and fillers. A low grade food IMO

I tried searching for something on Pro Plan but couldn't find any decent results. Jess, could you point us in the right direction?

Either way, cross check the items in bold against the list of bad ingredients at http://www.dogfoodproject.com. If you need a more explicit reasons for not feeding Pro Plan please send me a PM!

We've been feeding the Pro Plan Sensitive Systems now for 2 months and I like the results so far; shiny coats, good poop everyone likes it. Pro Plan is not holistic but it's a good basic food that most dogs do well on. (one of my mixes lived to be 17 on the Pro Plan Chicken/rice and my precious cattle dog died at 9 fed on Solid Gold and Chicken Soup her whole life)

That's great that you're getting good results. For the price, there are far better foods available. Then again, if it works for your dog you have no reason to switch!

Heres another good site to get some good info about all kinds of foods.
http://www.dogfoodanalysis.com/dog_food_reviews/
Pro plan selects are located on page 15 of "2 star ratings".

another basic site to better understand what dogs "need" in their diet and what really shouldnt be there...
http://www.eridox.com/health/nutrition.php
Pro plan isnt listed on there, but take a good look at some ingredients that are in Pro Plan and look them up here.
