I'm just kind of getting up and moving around, LOL. Late start.

But going to hop in the shower and head over to my grandma's house later - where my little 4 year old sister and my 2 year old cousin are going to have an easter egg hunt. My sister found her easter basket this morning from the Easter bunny! ;) That was cute...

I was a bad dog mom and didn't hide anything for Jackson - he looked sad this morning when he didn't have a basket, LOL!!

And that's basically it.

The puppies had their Easter egg hunt a bit ago. I haven't given the boys their new sheep toy yet. They're busy ripping around playing anyway so I don't think I need to give them the new toy. Georgie got a new bunny toy and my mom gave it to her already because she wasn't any good at hunting Easter eggs LOL. So she gave it to her as a consolation prize hahahaha.

I ate a nice breakfast so in about an hour I'm gonna go out for my long run for the week once it's digested. Then come home and shower, probably do some cleaning, then out to grandma's for dinner tonight.

I'm on a bus back from NYC, lol. A bunch of friends from high school (in California) are now scattered around the east coast, so we met up in NYC for the weekend. We went out to breakfast this morning and then DH and I caught the bus back to Baltimore, where we will pick up our car and head over to his uncle's house for Easter dinner.

I feel fairly sad about missing church this morning for Easter service, but I had a blast reconnecting with old friends...so it is what it is.

Didn't actually do much! It kinda sucks being so far away from family. I just hung out with my boyfriend and we went out for a nice dinner. :)

Well, hopefully getting over a cold (which I have now thoughtfully passed along to my sister). We were supposed to bring deviled eggs to my brother's house for Easter brunch but opted not to play Typhoid Mary.

We did go to brother's house and got to watch the nieces/nephews and guests egg hunt. That was fun to watch, except the Evil Easter Bunny (brother) hid some of the prizes a little too well and it took awhile to find them all.

My 3 yr. old niece - just about everyone (adults & kids) were helpfully pointing out eggs for her. :)

We had a great day.

we actually did our "easter hunt" for Hannah yesterday morning, which was very fun. she was more concerned about having on the right shoes than she was about getting out to the living room to find all her stuff LOL

This morning we got up and went to church. it was a great service. members of our congregation read from John's gospel (it's a very tiny church lol), we sang songs and the pastor gave a GREAT sermon. Afterwards we hung around a bit and chatted with everyone and I talked to the pastor about being baptized (I was baptized as a baby but I'd like to be baptized again as an adult).

Then after that we went over to the family gathering at Brians cousins place. The food was great, hannah was spoiled with easter goodies from everyone and we had an easter egg hunt for the kids. Lots of fun and great company.

Now we are home and just relaxing

I've been working on a making a video game with a bunch of people I met on reddit.

We have writers, programmers, musicians working with us. Now we are trying to get artists to understand this is a volunteer project. Any money made from the game will be donated so the only thing you can have is your name in the credits and it available to be put in your portfolio.

None of the artists seem to be understanding that NO one is getting paid so it's been kind of a stressful day -.-

We had a billion people over for brunch (okay, more like 30)... ham, stuffed french toast, egg bake, sausage, hash browns, fruit, lots of dessert. I ate and then bowed out for the rest of the day, where I went and did some much needed studying at my friend's quiet house.

It's also my weekend to kennel at the clinic, but luckily we only have one cat boarding so it was easy peasy. I hate being stuck there on holidays if it's busy.

I hosted a lunch and egg hunt for 19 people. It was super fun and a little stressful but I was born to host! I love it.

I worked. This is the first time I remember my birthday fell on easter.

ETA: I looked it up the only other time my birthday has fallen on Easter was 2007.

I did the dogs' nails, ate too much, and took several naps. And I'm still tired.
