What your dog would say

The following is one of my favorite poems. I believe it is what our beloved pets would say to us, if they could, from Heaven. It was written by Isla Paschal Richardson.

Grieve not -
Nor speak of me with tears
But laugh and talk of me
as if I were beside you
I love you so -
Twas Heaven here with you.

I hope this provides some comfort for all of you who are missing a beloved one.

That is a beautiful poem. Regardless none of my doggies have crossed the Rainbow bridge but it is something to remember when they do. It is not a sad sad thing, it's a part of life, and I know that someday I will see them all agian.
