I'd love to eventually start a small Belgian Tervuren Kennel once I've gotten a hang of the conformation ring and obedience ring as well as having a "finished Riot" with many titles lol So that I have experience as well as learning the ropes of everything that involves a proper kennel, plus research etc etc.

Anyways.. I have been trying to think up a catch show name.
I LOVE the name Ravenmasque as well lol Its unique and goes well with any "puppy names".
I haven't quiet thought of anything just yet - but I'm still thinking :)

What would you name your kennel and what would you breed/show/train?

i have no idea, I'm terrible with names, lol.

I would breed German Working Lines GSD's and train them for Schutzhund, SaR, Personal Protection (aside from schutzhund) and more working activities.

I would love to show (in conformation) as well with a different breed.

Our " estate " was Hawthorn Hills ... due to 2 hawthorn trees on the highest point....Thus my kennel name was Hawthorn Hill's .

On furry-paws (an online virtual dog game) I raise and breed Australian Cattle Dogs. I'm not very creative with kennel names, I could only think of "Silver Heels". I like the sound of it and blue ACDs have silver on the back of their heels, lol. I would trian them in conformation, herding, and agility.

In the future, I actually want to own and show a male ACD (I already have a breeder picked out, lol!) But I don't want to breed.

Thats such a neat name grammy!

I know that Sheila chose "Ravenmasque Kennels" because of the Belgians black "raven coloured" faces - hence the mask :)

I would show Dutch Shepherds in Agility, Herding, SaR and Shutzhund.

My Kennel would probably be called Herd of Us Kennels.

If I ever get to breed/show Chihuahuas, I would want to name my kennel "Roxy's House." It really wouldn't sound good though if you said it like this: Roxy's House's Fido. But it would sound really good if you said it like this: Fido of Roxy's House.
I think too much. LOL

Oaklandbay Bird dogs...For registered names use Oaklandbay for short.
I am sticking with the whole water theme.
Example
Oaklandbays Red Tide. Call name Red
Oaklandbays Tsunami Call name Sue
Oaklandbays Typhoon Call name Tye

My next boy will be Tye. Already had a Tsunami but she has retinal folds and has a new home. Of course I have Red. Almost named him Fred short for
Fn' Red LOL

Anyone really serious..... no cutesy names. Keep Kennel names to deal with the area site or if affiliated with other known breeders a combination name. Most well established OLD kennel names included their Champion's names. I can go back to 1940s lines which most contained these names. An interesting study .

I've want to have a kennel when I'm older! I like the name
Muddy Pawz Kennel

But I'm sure I'll think of a better one later...:) And I've always loved Dalmatians, so that would be my breed of choice!

I read ur post after I posted mine...@_@... But I agree no one really takes cute names serously. Muddy Pawz was just a suggestion... I'll probably change it though. Too cute for me...lol

Nova Labradors, because Nova is my first Lab, and she is my heart dog. I am planning on breeding under that kennel name someday, but I may just stick with rescue work. Not sure yet.

Well, I never seriously thought of becoming a breeder but if I did my breed of choice would very obviously be the Toller and my kennel name would probably be a word with 'Toll' incorporated into it...either that or something else that is associated with the breed (ducks, decoy, river/lake/pond etc.).
