Trixie sometimes has really bad breath!..I dont know what its from?..She has nice white clean teeth??..I feed her good dog food, she dont get into the cat litter?

But, MAN sometimes her breath will just knock you over!!

I dont know what will be better to get??...Those breath dog bones, or some dog toothpaste, and brush her teeth??

Does anyone knows??

Thanks for the help! :)

What food do you feed? j/w

I think brushing her teeth would be the better alternative; healthier than the mints & bones (watch the ingredients in those!) and the mints usually don't last very long ;)

I use electric toothbrush on Lena, she has her own brush attachment.I use normal toothpaste but little smidges squashed into the brush and a bottle of water to rinse as you go.It`s great when your dogs got minty fresh breath.Rolo never gets bad breath.I put this down to him useing his pull rope a lot.

Bad breath can sometimes be an illness too . A health check wouldn't hurt .

Human toothpaste is a BIG, HUGE, GIGANTIC no-no for dogs... I'd never use that!

Ronn has bad breath - even though he has no reason to. He's young, he's healthy, and he's got beautiful pearly whites... very little tartar.

But alas, he's got StinkoBreath. So, he gets a water additive, doggie breath mints, dental chews, and dental treats... seems to help a bit.
