Venom is argueabley Spidermans most dangerous enemy. He is the result of a fusion between the symbiot that gave spiderman the "black suit" and Eddie Brock... both beings that end up hating Spiderman/Peter Parker.
Venom refers to himself as we, as his two individual minds are one.
He is stronger and faster then spiderman, poses all the same powers plus the ability to camoflage himself with his surroundings and he is not detectable by Spidermans "Spidey Sense".
Venom is one of the major villains in the 3rd Spiderman film. (and throughout the comics however I doubt many people are going to go out and read those)
