I have had medium sized dogs and large sized dogs and I like my large dogs. Sarge is almost full grown and he is about six inches taller than my parents medium dog (heeler mix). What size do you prefer or like the best?

I like labrador size..it is still taking me a while to get use to Victor's skinny body. He is taller then Mary but so "not labrador solid" if that makes sense. Bronki was my favorite,,,,but he couldn't fly like red bull with wings..and leap tall buildings in a single leap..who knows, Victor is really grown on me and i bet Richie knows exactly what i mean. I like the heavier look.like a pit bull...but i like to watch Victor run..:D all them other dogs look down right lazy;)

I love HUGE, GIANT dogs. I wanted a bully/mastiff breed (like a Dogo or Fila) but my mom said they were too big so I got a Doberman. Although I wish Dobies were bigger, I still love them.

I like larger breeds better. They're so nice and snuggly, and are great for rough and tumble games. My mom has a little maltese who follows her everywhere, and I'm always afraid I'm going to step on the poor little thing.

I've always had large dogs... 75 to 110#... and would go even larger. I won't put small dogs down, but I'd never own one.

I've only ever had large dogs.

I want a great dane but I am scared I would not be able to control it. They are SO large.. i would have to like, ride it like a horse HAHA. just kidding :)

I think large dogs are great for hugs, and they have so much presence.

Small itty bitty dogs make nervous for some reason, i am afraid they will snap and bite me. Probably silly..

Speaking of which, the two little itty bittys next door are friggen howling again at 3 am here.. lol.. thats what i get for living 2 blocks from the hospital i guess. sirens every 10 minutes! hehe.. MY dog doesn't howl. :)

I love the large and if i could learn to handle an xlarge that would be good. my dog is 100 lbs :)

I'm a large dog fan too. I love Casey's size, she's just sooo cuddly. I probably wouldn't get a smaller dog, I'm so used to her size. I'd love to get something bigger though, in years to come.

German Shepherd size and up! I'd love to have another Terrier someday, but they aren't small dogs; they're compact . . . inside those little-looking bodies lurks a 200 pounder, lol!

Medium/large. I like how my dogs are small enough that they don't take up too much room, but large enough that I don't have to worry about hurting them when we play rough. They're also perfect for cuddling - they even sit in my lap at times (one dog at a time of course).

Eventhough I currently have toy sized dogs, I still like large and exrta large dogs best. The only reason why I have small dogs is because I am forced to due to my living situation. But when I buy my own house, the very first thing I am going to do is buy me a male rottweiler.

Small to medium sized

When I say small, I mean dogs that are about 10-14 inches in height. NOT Toy breeds.
