Yup. Apparently he just decided not to show up for the first day of read-throughs. Caused a bunch of trouble since they suddenly had to re-write everything to fit in his leaving. I was pretty impressed with how they handled tonight's episode - that was a leftover from last season (delayed in respect of the VT shootings), which is why they had all the voiceovers of Gideon reading the letter. I believe he appears very, very briefly in next week's episode, and then that is it.

It makes me sad - I started watching the show because I loved MP in Chicago Hope. I have several of his CDs as well, and have been to a concert of his. I really want to like him, but he's apparently a bit of a difficult person. Oh, well. Even without him, CM is one of the best shows on TV.
He was the reason I started watching CM as well. It's a shame... I liked him on Chicago Hope, (and The Princess Bride!) and I like his singing, too. *sigh*
I do like Thomas Gibson, just wish they'd lighten up his character a little bit - he's always so somber, but he does look good in a suit! Lol!

The Princess Bride! Duh. I've been trying to figure that out.

Anyone like the Reaper?

I missed house... waaahhhhh

I've never seen greys anatomy or office... but i know a lot of people who say they're awesome. Maybe I need to check out those shows on dvd and somehow catch the reruns of the new season that i've already missed.

I hardly ever have time to watch the shows when they come on. My dvr is constantly almost full because it is recording all the time.

Ah, but it does make those bits of sarcasm and jokes he gives out so much the better. I squeed like a thirteen year old girl meeting a boy band the other night when, after being put on probation by the blond woman, he left the office with, "Always a pleasure".

I've been disappointed with many premieres this week, plus my DVR screwed up 2 shows.

The one show I did love and was bawling like a baby was Ugly Betty. What a great show it was last night.

That WAS a good line! Lol!

I also caught the last part of 'Are you smarter than a fifth grader?' Kinda scary to see how much some adults don't know. Rather like watching Jay Leno find the dumbest people on the planet to answer simple questions...

I keep missing that one! I watched the first couple episodes and was stunned. One of the questions was "If you crossed the USA's northern border, what country would you be in?", and the woman used a cheat:rolleyes: . I like anything that makes me feel like a genius!
