Many Corgi owners may be described as witty. They are intelligent people with a dry sense of humor. They are studious and work hard but also love to play. They are quick to laugh and eager to make others feel comfortable. Favorite TV show: Anything on BBC America.
Dead on, except for the BBC America, although I do enjoy watching Dr. Who lol...

2. Golden Retriever – Golden retriever owners are generally laid back good people who love the outdoors. They enjoy spending time with their friends and family and many have jobs where they help people. Most also devote some of their free time to volunteering and frequently donate to various charities. Some can be a little too trusting.

Well its true that I love the outdoors but I'm certainly not trusting and am not really that sociable lol.

18. Shetland Sheepdog – Shetland sheepdog owners are kind people that love taking care of others.
Ok, sure.

Most work in a service oriented field or stay at home with the kids.
Not me!

They love to keep themselves looking good
Sure

and are often presidents of their local neighborhood group. Their homes are kept immaculate and their yards are the envy of everyone. Favorite TV show: Days of our Lives.
No and NO! I would never be in a homeowners association, let alone be the **** president! Our house is almost always messy and I hate cleaning. We don't even have a yard and definitely no to the soap! I would never watch a freaking soap.

That wasn't particularly accurate for me. We definitely need a new one.

Honestly Lizmo I think many would find that statement offensive.......no loved animal is just a pet I understand (I think) what you mean........but I am sure that the borders I know personally are very happy, well adjusted, well cared for dogs...........they are very content being just a pet
There is nothing wrong with a dog being just a pet. Just look at some of the posts made by me in one other thread concerning this.

But, BCs need to work, need to have a job, and/or need to have lots of mental stimulation. Most borders become destructive or aggresive if not given enough work to do(by work, I mean agility, Ob-competeing, herding). This is just from experience/reading what other owners have to say.

Cocker Spaniel American – Cocker spaniel owners often have busy lives but will do whatever it takes to spend quality time with their families. They love to be romanced and like lots of drama in their lives. Some can be quick-tempered. These owners love looking good and spend time at the gym and at the salon getting their look just right. They don't really like change and don't make new friends easily. But, they have several very good friends, many since childhood. Favorite TV show: Desperate Housewives.
I hate that show.. I spend no time in the salon or the gym thanks.. I don't like drama I accidentally end up in it though.. bleh

27. Great Dane – Owners of Great Danes are good-hearted people with a keen sense of responsibility. They take their life and work seriously and strive to do their very best. They like to keep on top of world events and like to debate important issues with others. They aren't prone to silliness but do enjoy lounging around the house on the weekends. Favorite TV show: 60 Minutes.
First off i HATE that show LMAO..and second i am very prone to silliness, you have to be somewhat silly and have a petty good sense of humor to live with a Great Dane lmao ;)

I have a mixed breed (Great Dane/Lab), so I guess I can do two.
1. Labrador Retriever – Labrador retriever owners are always looking for fun things to do. If necessary, they will gladly provide the fun. They love all sports, especially water sports. These people are known for their kindness, compassionate nature and spontaneity. They will try anything, at least once. Favorite TV show: Anything on the Outdoor Life Network.
Hmm, people do consider me a fun and sponteneous person. I love the outdoors.

Hmm, I don't follow the news except maybe celeb gossip. I've very prone to silliness. And 60 Minutes, I don't watch.

Heheheh . . . PM, I can imagine if there was one for Filas it would include "downright anti-social, paranoid bitch with sociopathic tendencies" from the stereotypes used for the rest of the breeds ;)

25. Basset Hound – Many Basset hound owners are laid back and enjoy the comforts of home. They have lots of great traits but are never considered overly neat or meticulous. The like to sleep in and waking up early can be a struggle. Basset owners enjoy being silly and making others laugh but can also be stubborn. Favorite TV show: Reno 911!

2. Golden Retriever – Golden retriever owners are generally laid back good people who love the outdoors. They enjoy spending time with their friends and family and many have jobs where they help people. Most also devote some of their free time to volunteering and frequently donate to various charities. Some can be a little too trusting.

They didn't have one for Chow-Chows, which is my other dog's breed...she's actually a chow/black lab/rottie mix...she's my only mutt, per se. I wouldn't say the basset hound description is entirely accurate. Rita (my basset), gets up at the crack of dawn with me, and is actually quite active, probably more so than my elderly golden boy, Melvin.

Shar pei owners tend to be bold and can be aggressive at times. They can be short-tempered and hold a grudge but are very loyal to their friends. They often have firm ideas and do not often change their minds about things. They are opinionated and not shy about voicing those opinions. Favorite TV show: Politically Incorrect.
This is very wrong in my opinion. For starters I am the most laid back person I know and the shiest person I know. I don't hold grudges. The only true things are friend loyalty and holding opinions. I don't know anything about politically incorrect...is it reality TV, I hate reality TV.

Does that mean if you're a mixed breed owner you represent all those things? :D

Heh. I'm sure if it listed something for Border Collie owners, it'd be "insane".

The Papillon bit was way off, but I think that's because I own a Ripley and not a normal Papillon. :p
