Today was our turn for a What the @#*@?!? moment.

Our new place in Seattle is great. It has a front yard that is fenced with a 3' picket fence, and it has two latched gates. Our close neighbors are awesome, and responsible dog owners.

There I am, working in the kitchen, and some lady is walking her dogs on the sidewalk outside our fence. That's cool. She stops. Opens our gate. Comes into our yard and walks all the way up to our window, then lets her one of her two grotesquely obese labs take a huge dump on our patio. Then she left without picking it up. If I wasn't so stunned I probably would have run outside and thrown it at her. :madgo:

????

Maybe she hates the people who lived in your place previously?

And yeah, she deserves it right in the face...

Yah, I had a neighbor who walked her dog in my yard

That, though . . . that is just CRAZY. I mean, literally crazy. Maybe you need a lock on the gate? Or a "No Trespassing" sign, snap her photo when she does it again, and go file a report on her. I'd ask the neighbors if they know anything about it, too.

I would have been out that door so fast.
WTF.
That is INSANELY disrespectful, disgusting, and CRAZY.

I'd have told her to get her a$$ back there and pick up her dog's sh!t.

That is unsanitary in sooo many ways.
First off, it's foreign sh!t. You don't know her dog, or her. What if her dog has worms? What if her dog is extra toxic? What if, what if, WHAT IF?

Foreign dog poo grosses me out. BADLY.

O_O WHAT THE..................

I've had neighbors who let their dogs go in our front yard, if they're walking by and the dog has to go, without picking it up, but deliberately coming into your FENCED front yard and letting the dog go????? That's just creepy, weird, gross, and jerk-ish. I would've been pi$$ed....

WTF.

I'm betting she has something against the previous residents and didn't realize they were gone or something... I would totally throw poo at her.

Yeah, if I ever see her again I'm yelling at her. As much as I want to throw poo, I really don't want assault charges pressed against me :lol-sign: It's weird enough it'd probably end up in the Seattle Times and then the Dog News subforum.

I'm going to talk to our neighbor about maybe getting a lock. She'll probably feel the same way. They have a little bichon mix and is pretty freaked out about people leaving the gate open anyway, because her mom has MS and can't go out with him on potty breaks.

I hate foreign dog doo too. Thing is, we don't even let our dogs potty in the front yard. They go in the back or on walks, because Aurelia plays out there. Odell the bichon mix is being trained to go in a corner, and they're really good about picking up after him. Plus his poo is tiny and he's kept wormed.

This is one of those things that would make me crazy. I'd like to think I'd go running out the door and call her out, but I might stand there in shock, just like you did. And, then, I would become obsessed with "catching" her again so I could say something.

That is just beyond the pale. Crazy!
