Can't say I see any of those things. Not big enough for Akita or Saint. I see lab crossed with something.

He is handsome though.

I could maybe see Akita crossed with a smaller Lab mix. There are definitely more than two breeds at work there.

I can totally see St. Bernard in his 'forehead' eyes, and expression. I agree there are more than two dogs mixed in there.
A younger Saint before the face gets too 'floppy' LOL

Whatever is in him, he sure is a handsome guy :)

haha I love all your responses so thank you. He has more skin then any dog I have ever seen! he also (I think) somewhat resembles a St. Bernard but who really knows.. Was hoping for some thoughts from the pros :)

I'm very suprised none of you have thought hes any part husky... Hes got a similar body to one and definately has their tail...By the way he is only about 7 or 8 months in that picture. Hes put on probably about 20 pounds since that picture (dont worry hes not fat hes all musclessss)!!

if he is young then perhaps akita. But he doesn't look like a husky to me.

I agree, I am not seeing husky.

......but that never means much with mixed breeds does it? LOL I have seen some CRAZY crosses where they KNOW both parents and you'd never guess it in a billion years, LOL

I personally don't see any Saint Bernard in your pup, although he is really cute! The only thing Saint like about the head is the broad skull, his lips are tight as are his eyes. Typically Saint mixes, especially males are much bigger than 80lbs, but of course he could be mixed with something much smaller. My male Saint weighs 100lbs more than your pup. I do think that he has several different breeds, something that has a prick ear as his ears are not fully dropped. I see lab, maybe some shepherd, and who knows what else. He sure is a cutie!

Isn't that the truth. I had a dog for a while as a teen who was 1/2 weim, 1/4 lab and 1/4 bouvier. All dogs fairly decent examples of their type. Scotia grew up to look exactly like a black weim. Didn't see any other body type or coat, just the colour.

I'll be honest I dont see Lab in him whatsoever but then again I'm no dog expert however there is a lab in my household as well and they have no similar traits? Appreciate all the thoughts, has anyone ever seen a dog like this before?

To me, his color and markings could definitely indicate Akita. Does he get along with other dogs? Akitas generally do not.
