A troll is someone who posts for the purpose of getting us upset. They are lying about their situation and just want to stir us up. So you probably saw the trolling aimed at dogmatian who has been asking a bunch of questions about a bunch of different dogs he has. Well he almost never replies to the threads he makes and he also makes it seem like each dog he has is the only dog. Well it turns out he does not own any of these dogs and all the problems he is having with "his" dogs are not actually happening. So when we figured him out he made another account (I believe his name is dogbreeds123) and is continuing to ask a bunch of random questions about his imaginary dogs.
A troll is a fake or someone who posts to anger us. Something a troll would do is start a thread like "When my dog barks I kick him in the face, do you think this is the right thing to do?" maybe not this extreme but you get the idea.
We had a troll tell us her dog was pregnant and we advised her to abort the litter and spay, she decided not to which was OK. There were a few odd things about that post, like she mentioned how far along her dog was and one of our breeders here noticed that you cannot tell the dog is pregnant that early.
A few months later she posted that the pups had been born, she posted some pics of them. There were a few odd things there like the age she told us did not look like the pups. Also the pups in one pic looked much younger than the pup in another. She also said the amount of pups there were but then said the number of males and females and it did not add up to the original number she said there were.
The real kicker was when one of our members found out the lady had gotten the pics of "her" pups from a bunch of different websites and was just pretending they were hers. I don't know what motivated her to do that.
So hope that clears it up. If you go to the member help and info section and go to the rules I believe it mentions trolls.
