I just noticed these spots on Ringo tonight.

I'm worried. I can't afford the vet until Friday at least. He's otherwise perfectly normal. I haven't noticed him scratching or biting or anything like that. Do you think it's the change in Candiae formula? That's honestly the only thing I can think of.

I'd like to mention that Atlas has a spot on his back paw just like Ringo, only his spot is slightly larger with more hair missing. What is this?!

PS. The spot on Ringo's face is taken at an angle with the hair kind of flipped up to show the problem area better. It doesn't look as bad as you would think normally.

Yeah, I know it's blurry. My camera sucks with up-close photos.

I don't think it's ringworm or hot spots. There is no pain (they don't react), and it doesn't look like ringworm.

Actually, Ringo reacted to the spot on his face.

I found out that it was a small injury from Atlas playing too rough with those razor sharp puppy teeth. He's always clamping onto Ringo's face.

The rough feeling was a bit of dried blood. I cleaned it with some water, and it's back to normal, aside from the small scratch anyway.

The spot on the foot is definitely not an injury though.

The one on the foot kinda looks like some areas on Buddy's paws where he chews. They are just bald patches... Maybe it is a reaction to the food? Do your guys have allergies or something? Maybe it's some skin that got scraped on some cement?

That's possible (scrape), but they aren't bloody or scabbed or anything. They may have been chewing on them too.

I bet it's Canidae causing some kind of reaction in both of them. They were fine before the new formula.

I'll be taking my puppy to the vet about it instead of Ringo, since he seems to have it worse. I'll make the switch to a new dog food on the 1st of next month. I'm thinking Evo for Ringo and Innova for Atlas.

Bella has an old, and I mean pretty old scrape on one of her paws that never healed and it looks like a dry patch of skin, basically. There is also no scab on any of Buddy's spots that he likes to chew on. I hope it's nothing serious, good luck to you. :)
