Stay indoors :p

Get a couple of good movies, light a fire, make hot chocolate and lots of snacks and enjoy your day warm and cozy :)

Again, there's no "best" thing to do, but *I* like to : Bring out cozy blankets, watch good movies (edit: or read a nice book) that give/s me warm fuzzies, put on jammies and my comfiest fuzzy socks, curl up with my animals, make tea or hot chocolate, and relax. :)

sit in front of the fire with a good book, hot tea or a toddy (depending on my mood...or time of day..lol) OR...lay snuggled in bed watching a movie with hub and dogs...............toddy or tea still nice there, too. I LOVE to be totally snowed in. some yummy food roasting in the oven, or if we lose power....hot dogs cooked in the fire can be amazing. :)

I chose sleep because there was a lack of a 'run outside and make people wonder' option.

I can't imagine doing much else on a cold day. Cold days sap the energy right out of me. They allow me enough energy to get out of bed, eat, then get back in bed but only because it knows that after eating I'll have more energy that it can sap from me. Cold days are beeches.

Usually lay on the couch under a warm blanket and watch a couple movies or read. Sometimes the couch is subsituted for the bed though :).

Cold days sap the energy right out of me
That's so funny. I'm just the opposite. Heat saps me. I love the cooler weather and snow. Cooler. I can do without the extreme cold that we get part of the time...like below zero. Enough is enough. Today is good though....about 25 degrees F.

You should add "other" to your poll. I think the best thing is to go for long walk in the forest, play outside with the dogs, throw the Chihuahuas into a drift of snow (just kidding) and as much as I hate it, making paths with my snow blower and making it all tidy. When it's all finished, it looks so cool. Then it snows again and ruins all my work. THEN....come inside for some Earl Grey tea and a little computer time, some TV, a good book, a talk on the phone. I go stir crazy if I'm inside all the time.

On cold days I like to just sit on the couch with Tango. I'm not one for movies, but that's what I voted for as it's the only option that included sitting on a couch. That being said, I also enjoy being outside for a while when it's cold.

I like to go shopping lol.

Usually lighting a fire and watching TV/a movie is nice, but that bores me rather quickly. So then a nap is good. But I'd rather shop. :lol-sign:

Oh and to go along with snuggling up I like to light candles. :) Except I'm debating whether it's an option this year because I have swift, quick kitties who jump everywhere and climb all over the place in an instant. Don't want anyone getting burned.

Well, I voted for riding horses. I don't have horses anymore. But I use to like riding in the cold as long as I bundled up and wore thermal socks. Somehow your feet get cold when riding....just hanging down like that. But I loved riding and hanging out with my horses so it didn't matter if it was cold.

Oh! another fun thing to do is if you live in an area where you can do it, is to have a nice big bon fire and have some friends over. It's all cozy by the fire and you can watch the stars and have dogs milling around, eat, talk, drink a few beers. It's a great way to be outdoors in the cold and snow and keep cozy too.

Depending on if there is snow or not, I go outside and have some fun! Run the dogs, go skiing, snowshoeing, ski some more, and just be thankfull summer is over! And the colder it is- the better! (Except, I dont really handle anything colder then -15...-20 at the coldest.)
