Please help me figure out the breed of my puppy... thanks!

Hello all! My baby, Jersey, is going on 5 months, we adopted him from our local SPCA, they were only able to tell us that his mama was 100% Rotty and his dad, sad to say, was a gigolo... At one point I though he was a hound dog because he started to howl like one, but the more and more we look at him we are thinking maybe pitt..... We love him bunches but it would be nice to have an idea of what his papa was.... We have a 8 year old Rotty/Chow mix, Nina, and they are sooo different, She is a babysitter, a nurturer, a guardian.... He is a clown and a goof, we are always laughing at him... he is very smart but just really silly, He learned how to sit and shake by the time he was 9 weeks old and was potty trained since 3 months.... I thank you all in advance for your opinions on his breed.... Here are a few pictures I took this morning, it was hard to sit him still, go figure... There are a few older ones too

Jersey and Nina this morning...

Trying to get him to stay still is a challenge, my son had to help....

Nina is such a good girl, always ready to pose!

A different view....

The attitude/ temperment sure sounds like a pitt... they are total goofballs. His face is bit elongated, pitts have more of a thick sqaure head and jaw. from the shape of his head and placement of his eyes Im thinking maybe rottie lab mix. Rotties can be real goofballs too. I had one with my ex and he always had us laughing, hes a big 200lb. comedian.

Your puppies are both just dolls though. I love the pic of them sleeping in the bed!

He's adorable! I agree, I see some pitbull in him, with a little something else. You'll have a blast with him...I love that picture of Nina cuddling with him!

It's possible that he may have some Dobie in there too. His markings are clearly Rott, but if he was mixed with Lab or Pit, I would think his markings wouldn't be so Rottweiler looking. That's why I think Dobie..

Pit Bull is possible too. (Every dog has a little Pit in them, don't ya think? :D)

PS...Pit is with ONE 'T' :) :D

Thank you all for your help.... you all kinda confirmed what I thought.... Rotty, Pit, shepard, maybe lab........Sometimes I think he is a little human, he does this thing where he puts up his paws on my legs and wants me to pick him up and when I do he lays his head on my shoulder, it is the funniest thing...... Thanks again all!

Here is a pic of Bella; they sure look alike don’t they. The shelter she came form has her listed as shepherd mix. I have always thought that she was part rotty or maybe Doberman, who knows. You’re dogs look great together.:)
