So most of you know my current situation and know I need a job with pay. I have been given an offer but LOL I'm such a mom I have no idea what this means.
United Way in my community is my neighbor next door actually. I have been putting volunteer stuff in all over the place just to get something going on. The job would be a FT job as a National Service position. She said I would not get pay but I would get a living allowance and an education award after this which would be a year long commitment. She said I would be recruiting, training and coordinating volunteers.
So you know how I need a job with pay. What does living expense actually mean and what is an education award and would that give me something big for future employment with others jobs i.e. experience?
Also if I had a job where I could meet new people and help people thats kinda my dream job. You all know I don't have a car on hand much at all during the week and my husbands schedule is not consistent. He gets home any where from 7 p.m. to midnight. I have a daughter to where I need to be home when the bus drops her off. I know no one in my community and I cannot afford day care.
