Since my dogs have both been bathed in the last week, it got me curious. What do your dogs do after a bath?

Gavroche shakes off, I towel him off, and then he goes and pouts for a bit.

Logan shakes off, I towel him off, he sakes off some more, and then proceeds to rub his body/head on any available dry surface (couch, carpet, bed...). Then he licks himself all over until he's dry enough to give it a rest

Logan also rubs his head on the couch when I clean his ears, rubs on things when I spray him with doggie body spray (I have a pomegranate grapefruit spray that I LOVE and spray them both with regularly, but especially between baths lol). And today when I applied Petzlife he tried to rub his teeth on the carpet. I swear he's a boy through and through. He doesn't want girly stuff...like being clean  I swear, people have the WRONG impression of show dogs :rofl1:

I also have no idea how Logan gets himself so dirty, or where he stores his dirt. I gave Gavroche a bath while I was in the shower the other day, and his water didn't even look dirty. I gave Logan a bath while I was in the shower tonight, and the water was FILTHY! Logan has had a bath more recently than Gavroche, too. But he doesn't look, feel or smell dirty. I think the vast majority of the dirt was on his feets/between his toes.

Enzo will just pout for the most part. She goes and lays on the dog bed, unless I mistakenly let her outside. The she goes and rolls in the dirt.

Ozzy does what Logan does. He runs around the house and rubs himself all over the place. He also flings himself into dirt if we let him outside within a couple hours of giving him a bath.

Their feet are super storage dirt lockers.

Lacey does what Logan and Ozzy does lol.

Her fav spot to rub her face/body is on my bed, ugh! This is why I take her for a loooong walk after a bath, so she is mostly dry before we go back in the house lol. But she still does the face rub thing, doesnt matter because at that point she is so dry that my bed/couch/floor are not getting soggy. On our walk she will try to roll on the ground, but I catch her as soon as she dorps her shoulder lol.

I could just crate her after a bath I guess, I tried it and it took her forever to get dry. She dries faster when we take a after bath walk lol.

Morgan dances. He will tolerate the shower/bath like a pouty little angel just because he LOVES getting toweled off THAT MUCH. As soon as the bathing is done, he will run straight to the towel and wiggle all over you while you dry him off, and then the rest of the day he dances around the house. We tell him he's weird. :p

After towel drying Bella she will roll and roll on carpets and on our beds if we don't shut all the doors. She will also try and bolt outside to roll in the grass or sand so we have to lock the doors going out too.

Leo will bark at everything and act like the world is his enemy and sit in a corner, if you go near his corner he will start grumbling, he sounds like an old man really.

Roxy my dads rescue just carries on with life as if nothing happened.

ETA: Bella is pretty much like Logan she will also lick herself like a maniac. I think we have personality twins

Jackson has the major ZOOMIES! He will start running through the whole house at top speed and then proceeds to use the dining room table and chairs as an obstacle course (he crawls underneath every single dining table chair) and does it like 4x in a row. It's hysterical -- I've really gotta get it on video. Besides that, he also rubs against every piece of furniture in the house and carpet.

They all zoomie really bad except Mia. She'll just sit and glare at me unless I let her outside, then she gets the zoomies.

Auggie does just what Jackson does... gets SUPER zoomies, runs around, dives under the table, sometimes he'll run against the couch and rub himself off on it, then back to zoomie-zoomie-zoom... then he comes running back to me so we can play-fight in the towels.

Chewy dos what Logan does, plus she rolls in the sand and uproots plants with her constant rubbing... and then rolls in the fresh dirt she just made.

Lola shuts down. End of story. She won't even shake. I towel her off and let her go, and she just walks off on her tippy toes with her legs completely rigid. She'll go to her dog house, curl up, and "sleep it off." When she wakes up she's dry and back to normal.

She shakes, then I towel her off, then she annoys me for the rest of the night, until I put her collar back on, and then she pouts because she is still wet and cannot go on the couch.

Logan sounds like the ferrets, :rofl1:

Zoomies! Also Lucy rubs and flings herself all over the furniture like a spaz, and Millie rubs her face on everything.

Chee-chee shakes off then walks in the garden to dry himself. He didn't want to get dry through the use of towel. He tends to go away and wants me to catch him. He prefers to get dry the natural way. :)

If it is hot outside we go for zoomies in the yard. If it is rainy or winter they lay down on a thick cotton blanket and are covered up to steam dry.

Chloe goes CRAZY! She loves to runrunrunrunrun around everywhere, rubbing on the carpet, love seat, bed, anything soft. She also likes to get ALL of her toys out of her basket, and run around with them (alternating) around the living room, and roll on them and stuff. XD

ZOOMIES.

We could have just gotten home from spending 2 hours at the dog park, she could be falling asleep when we walk in the door... but as soon as she gets out of the tub, she goes NUTS!

Lucy gets the zoomies too which is funny because normally the only time she moves quickly is if she tries to run after a squirrel lol. She runs all over the house, rolls on all the rugs, and then Juno starts hopping around barking because she thinks Lucy wants to play.

Jack also gets a major case of the zoomies - he runs up and down the stairs (we have three half-flights) and all over the house.

Missy sulks. And glares.

After I towel dry Maddie, I have to blow dry her.

Afterwards, she always has to go outside. Then she has the funniest zoomies, running around the house and playing with Missy like she's a puppy :D
Missy does the same thing, minus the blow drying ;) Those two play like puppies :D

Eve dives into my bed soaking wet and dries herself off on my blankets.
