Yah the angles are definitely wrong to be a box but I think that's the whole point. To us, it's a window because of the depth. To someone in the other society, it's a box, just a poorly drawn one. But since they don't necessarily have windows to compare it to, they might not be that concerned and just think it's a shitty artist.

I just showed this to my wife and teenaged daughter. My wife said, "It's people just sitting around" but my daughter said, "They are in a Lamaze class". I have to stop her from watching so much discovery channel :nono:

I saw the dog first, then took in the whole picture.

While I can *see* why they might think she had a box on her head.... The lines are completely wrong for it to be a box. It's not center, the depth of it is at the wrong angle, and a box of that size would require hands for support.... or at least a lot of concentration... which since she's sitting around with family, I just dont' see it.

Yea, and her hair aint even squshed! lol.

Logic says they're inside and that was my first thought too. However I can see how a person from a completely different culture would only be able to see that as an outdoor setting.
