What do u love about your dog,and what temperments do you love?
Here's my two cents in:

I have to say,im a fan of terriers, but in this part of london, they're VERY popular.I love their drivey, larger than life behaviour.

Im also a big fan of dumb dogs, all the goofy dogs ive seen have been more loving and FUN than the smarter, leave me alone dogs. This is why i adopted cassie. When i first saw her,she was running around in her kennel and when she saw me she ran into the wall. When i got to hold her she was a big cuddle-monster,thats another thing i like in a dog.

Well when i come home from being out,Sirius always has to have something in her mouth when she's greeting me...whether its a teddy,a shoe,a roll of toilet paper or whatever she always has to have something in her mouth...I tink its really cute.

Also if your doing something like reading or watching tv etc and she wants to be patted, she comes over and taps you on the leg a few times and then just stares at you... She tapped my mam one time and my mam petted her but sirius wouldn't go away. A little while later she realised the dogs water bowl was empty and sirius was trying to tell her. <3
Sometimes if your playing with her she goes a little bit crazy and runs around the house really fast like a lunatic.

I just love EVERYTHING about Caiza! He is a total marshmallow with me and my family but very protective of my home and me and my daughter. He is so happy and thinks he is a 5 pound lap dog most of the time but add 60 more pounds to the 5 LOL! He is my dream dog full of energy, spunk, brains, and love! I couldn't ask for a better more loyal boy! :)

What do I love about Hannah?

I think the more appropriate question is what do I NOT love about Hannah. :p

This dog is my heart...I swear she can read me inside and out. If I feel sad - she's by me in a second being goofy and getting me to laugh. If I feel stressed - she comes over and leans against me and once I start petting her, the stress is gone. If I feel angry - she comes to me for walkies, and we go walk and the anger is gone.

She's protective of me, she's a clown, she'll try anything once (even twice if I ask her to). She'd move heaven and earth for me, or die trying.

Even when she's doing nothing more than sleeping, she brings a joy to me that I wouldn't have without her in my life.

I love my puppy. There's not one thing about Hannah that I don't love (well....I s'pose I could do without the seperation anxiety issues!)

(and sappy moment over).

I love it when I look up from reading or being busy with something and see Fergus laying there and watching my every move. When we make eye contact, his body starts wiggling, starting with from his tail and moving up to the tip of his nose. All of this happens without him getting up, moving or lifting his head. When a Springer is happy, their entire body wags. :)

I also love him when we go to get ice cream. We have a 76 Mini, which is a very small car. Fergus sits in the back and can easily put his muzzle on my shoulder to look out the passenger window. He'll give me a quick lick on the side of my face to let me know it's not all about the window. ;)

Awe, those are some specific special things you listed, I enjoyed reading your post very much :)

I love my dogs, and everything about them. INCLUDING the annoying things, because that is what makes them who they are ;)

To pick out some particularly endearing points...........

What I love most about Phoebe is her 'motherly' attitude with ANY child alive. This girl would NEVER hurt ANY child, even if that child was hurting her. She has never met a child she didn't adore, and would do anything within her power to keep them from getting hurt in anyway. The way she acts over children is almost weird.........I have had and been around PLENTY of dogs who liked children, but it is NOTHING close to Mrs. Phoebz :)

I think Orson's most endearing quality is his ability to make me laugh, I mean REALLY laugh. He PURPOSELY does things to make me laugh, I know this because when he has done something naughty and I start to scold him he will try something that has made me laugh in the past, EXAMPLE....

Yesterday I caught him with one of the kids' toys and took it away, I told him "MINE" and that was bad. He hung his head for about 2 seconds, then grabbed one of his stuffies and did a zoomie through the house, came back and flung it at my husband........hitting him in the head! LOL, This is one of his comedic tricks he performs when he THINKS I am upset with him. WORKS EVERYTIME :D

Little white eyelashes, glances that remind me of a deer, the nudge that says touch me, even if i am not suppose to honor such a bossy demand, that nudge means all the world to me..arched neck when small children come close, holding so still that they lose their fear and explore his body with tiny fingers..the glance of a smile meant just for me
laughter as he plays the monster in the sheet..a ghostly chomper eating air and nibbling on my fingers

black fur warmed by the sun, the swoosh as she lowers herself in her tubby to cool off

her strength and bravery to protect those she loves, even against a dog sooo much younger and yet, she never bit her, only shoved her away

her gentle snore and thumping tail of happy dreams
how she always seems to know what i am thinking

the beauty of her grizzled face
the goofy rocking she does from foot to foot when she knows she has made an error..making it impossible to scold her

knowing that i have known her since she drew her first breath
and watching her grow, mature, and age, always the corner stone of my life
seeing her with my babies, and then my grandbabies

the sound of her heart as i lay my head, tired and weary against her at night and think how much she means to me and try so hard not to think of how soon she will go

What is not to love about an ACD ? If you have never owned one then maybe you don't understand that they are smarter then most dogs and they take protecting you to the limit. They can be taught so many things and really shine in a class. What I mean about that if you tend to have a bit of an ego ha ha such as I do and a competitive streak then they are the right dog for you. They aim to please and stand at the head of their class as well as being a bit of clowns too. Whiskey is my soul dog. I find it creepy sometimes when he trys to out wit us but that is him. People get kind of freaked out when we show him a new thing to do and he nails it right away. Oh and did I mention he never leaves my side. Kahlua walks through the house with me now too. Always beside me. I love them to death. They are not dogs they are my kids. Nothing too good for them.

what i love about Milo is his enthusiasm. When i tell him to "down" he doesn't just lie down, he FLOPS onto the floor. When i say "let's go" he doesn't just follow me, he runs bouncing and wagging and smiling.

i also love how he'll start out a few feet away from me, and then slowly move closer and closer until he's on top of me.

also, how if something scares him, he runs behind my legs and THEN assumes menacing barking position.

and how if he's upset, he comes to me and tries to tell me what's wrong. How when i go to pick him up he sort of "helps" by jumping up. How he tries to get my older, evil cat to play by whacking her in the face with a toy.

My answer would be a lot shorter if you asked me what I don't like about Tosca. Even then, I would have to think long and hard.

I really love everything about my Tosca. It's like we were destined to be each other's family member. I love how smart she is, how goofy she is, how attentive she is. I love how cute she is. I love how her fur feels. I love how she works her ears. I love how she looks. I love how she moves. I love to watch her run. I love how I don't even have to speak loudly to give her a command. I love how she loves my cats. I love how considerate she is. I love those two tufts of fur that flop around between her ears. I love all the noises she makes -from groans and moans, to Chewbacca, to a goose honks. I love how she does seven tricks before I even get the biscuit out of the tin. I love how she "helps" me in the garden by bringing me every tool she can pick up or drag until she finds one I can use. I love how she has her own pair of garden gloves she hauls around while I fiddle out there. I love how she gathers half her toys when she goes to sleep, so they are nearby. I love how everybody smiles when they see her. I love how she loves it too. I love how she acts like Nora Desmond after she's been groomed.

This dog was selected for me by someone far Bigger than I. I just could never have been that dog-smart all by myself.

I have said this many, many times... why I love my Kona.

So many things.

Kona means so much to me. She is my heart and my soul, and she is one of my children. This is coming from someone who has NEVER felt this way about a dog before. I have always had a love for dogs, but never THIS head-over-heels smitten over one.

I love her so much, when Rob told me we weren't going to take her to the beach this time, I cried.

I love everything about Kona. Even her faults. I can't build a list.

Mary greets with a toy too. ANd you have to take it and say thank you mary or she is just crushed. Once mom would not pay attention to her so Mary tucked it in the crook of her arm:)
