Ok, so Hubby and I are looking into new cars (wheee! :) ).

He currently has a Saturn SL2 (not my most favorite vehicle) and I drive a Toyota Tundra (LOVE my truck :)). So, his car is the car we will be getting rid of...

Our criteria:

-Family size... think a family of 3 or 4, add a dog, well, maybe two.

-Large, SUV or truck.

-We want it big for family outings, etc.. and we would like this to be our long term car. The truck is great, nice and big, but not all that great for trips because of rain sometimes.

SO.... what do you drive and what do you like about it? and Thanks :)

Well I drive a 1999 Monte Carlo...so it wont help out much with your looking for a family car. But I like it.

But when I get married and have a family I want a Chevy silverado quad cab...my boyfriend really prefers cars and if we have 4 dogs and eventually kids and take them all on a trip we definitely need something big.

I have a 2002 Mitsubishi Galant...Even though it has 4 doors, definitely not a family or large dog car...But I love it..

I LOVE all things Toyota... But I wanted to hear what everyone else thought or had....I'm worried mostly about size, because if we get a Great Dane..... :)

The Hyundai doesn't look bad...

A Great Dane would love that 5th back window !! the 4 Runner is the only one that can be raised and lowered from inside.

I love my Pinzgauer. It would easily hold the cargo you described and then some. I noticed that you didnt mention you need something that is fast.

Pixie, defintently a sweet ride. any rig you can just pound on and keeps ticking is the best.

Buck, mines a 96 as well. Im waiting on my new axles before I go out and break a rubber ball in a rubber room wheeling.
