Besides hang out on Chaz, of course! LOL

What do you do for a job? Do you like it?
What is your dream job?
What is your favorite job from your job history?

And what do you do in your "spare time" - do you have an interesting hobby that people don't know about?

I currently work at an international inbound call centre, taking reservations from and for all over the world for a well known car rental brand. I take about 120 calls in an 8 hour shift, in both English and French. I do hate my job, but unfortunately, without a degree, there's not much else I could do and get paid this much!!

My dream job would be being an APHA show judge and trainer, but the horse market is just so unpredictable. I would be happy to be a social worker specializing in child welfare and train a small clientele of horses on the side. My ultimate goal (thinking 30 years down the road!) would be to own a ranch (a la Neon Rider) for all of society's "last chance kids" - ones on their way into or out of rehab or juvenile detention, on suicide watch, chemical dependancies, homeless, etc - give them a chance to get their high school equivalency, teach them good work ethic (through working on the farm), and responsibility (through working with their assigned horse and chores), and help them start living a good life.

My favorite job in the past was working as a standardbred racehorse groom, at a farm. Absolutely LOVED the horses, and most of the people I met. I was actually sexually harrassed by my supervisor at that job, and eventually fired because he was definitely not "my type", but can still look on that job as being one of the best I have had. I also really enjoyed a summer I worked as a librarian, coordinating the children's summer reading program.

In my spare time I have been working agility with my miniature australian shepherd, Morrie. I was previously training my 6 year old APHA mare, Angel, until I lost her to colic six weeks ago. I am without a riding horse right now, but I am perusing my options. I am working on inhand trail with my six month old colt (Angel's son), and basically biding my time until next spring when I plan to start her (now) three year old daughter, Ari. Basically my entire life revolves around horses!

I also really enjoy doing some basic HTML, and am exceptionally addicted to Equination.net, a simulated thoroughbred horse racing game. I like to scrapbook and I also really enjoy creative writing. :)

So! Tell me about you!

I am a flight attendant for a major airline.
My dream job would be to own my own bakery with my mom. It's something we've always wanted to do, but probably never will.
My favorite past job was when I was the barn manager for a very wealthy hunter/jumper rider. I learned so much but I worked 6 days a week. Thus, the reason I'm no longer there ;)
My hobbies are riding and training horses and dogs. Well, obviously not riding dogs but you know what I meant :p

I work in the NICU. If the unit doesn't have babies in it then I work newborn. And if I am really desperate for hours I'll work pediatrics or obstetrics.

This is probably my favorite job. I find it very rewarding most of the time. How many people get the opportunity to actually see a life born over and over again... it's a miracle and I never get sick of seeing it.

In my spare time I am totally addicted to the computer in general... which doesn't leave me much time for much of anything else. I have to pry myself away from the computer because I have 4 baby blankets and a baby tuxedo to make soon.

I wish I sounded more interesting and busy with life.. but this is me in a nutshell.

I am a housewife. I take care of my son and my boyfriend's son full time! I love it, thought it can be really really hectic for someone as young as me. I wouldn't have it any different, that is for sure!

My dream job is to be a nurse like Nancy. I recently just made this decision and hearing all her stories has helped me out greatly.

I have never had a job, again, I am young. Unless you want to count the little side jobs I used to do at a friend's ranch, breaking horses in a humane way with my dog, Coby.

In my spare time, I am either on the computer, playing with Kona, reading, spending time with Rob, but alot of the time I am messing around with my fish tank.

A hobby that none of you Chazzer's know about would be my photograpy. I am often toting a camera around with me to take pics of just about anything. though I am not as good as Andrew or some of the other photographers on here, I hope to be one day.

I'm a professional stunt bum who attends college on the side.

What is your dream job? Babe, I'm already livin' the dream! After I beat Rufus I'll be #1 in the nation. But if stunt bummery doesn't work out, I guess I'll settle for being a veterinarian.

I work in a bakery. Like the job, doesn't like the boss or my manager. And honestly I'm not paid enough for what I do (I'm pretty much always getting blamed if something isn't done, so I have to manage all the high school girls during the last shift).

My dream job? Stay-at-home mom :D Which hopefully should be soon (we're on the list to adopt a newborn).

Otherwise, I haven't got enough good work experience to think of any job I really enjoyed.

What I do

I am an accountant. ZZZZZZZZZ. Yes, it's boring but it pays the bills.

My dream job would be to write movie scripts, comedies in particular. I am in the process of writing my first script. I am on page 70 which translates into about 70 minutes. I got my puppy 5 weeks ago and I haven't written a word since. My pup, Dirk, keeps me busy but I am enjoying our new addition to the family.

Boy, we have a lot of horse folk here!

I manage a 16 stall hunter/jumper barn. Not always the easiest job, thanks in part to the Vermont weather and in part due to occasionally annoying horse owners;) . But, it beats being in an office all day, and although it is six days a week, my hours are pretty nice (usually done by 2 or so), and very flexible.

This is probably my favorite job so far. I've managed another barn, been an animal control officer, and taught dog training classes. This job has the best benefits by far, and my boss is wonderful.

My dream job is to be a kept woman:D .

Pretty much all my spare time goes to my dog or my horse (a 10 year old Hanoverian that I do dressage with).

What do you do for a job? Do you like it?

I am a full-time criminal justice student and I work for a non-profit organization that helps abused and neglected children. While I really like it and it can be rewarding at times...it is also a lot of work and a lot to leave at work...for me, I bring too many things home and let it get to me.

What is your dream job?

I would like to do something in the criminal justice field. I do not agree with a lot of things there, so I guess I'm having the "I'm going to make a difference" shades on. I would like to be a juvenile probation officer and help some of the misguided kids out....or do the same thing with adults. Our prisons are overcrowded and we need to look on more alternative methods. But that's a whole different story.

What is your favorite job from your job history?

Hmmm...I would have to say that would being the head chef in a small catering department. We did wonderful things with a very small staff...so pretty much everything was on my shoulders. I would sit down with the clients, shop, prepare, and work at the actual event. While at times very stressful, it was very rewarding and very good money.

How about to add to the meld, we add - what was your least favorite job?

Mine was working at an "A" level h/j farm! The owner had these horrible welsh corgis that bit me everytime they saw me, the owner screamed and swore at just about everyone, they "forgot" to pay me several times and made me work WAY more than my contracted hours. Needless to say, I lasted a grand total of two weeks before I hightailed it out of there.

What do you do for a job? Do you like it?

I am a full time college student. Majoring in photography. I hate school, but only have a year left after this semester.

What is your dream job?

I have lots of dream jobs really. But the most realist is that I would like to have my own photography business so that I can work on my own schedule so that I can for the most part be a stay at home mom.

I haven't actually had any 'real' jobs. But my favorite job is working for my Nanny. I do mowing, cleaning windows, etc. She pays better than anyone, good hours, and I get fed dinner when I am working for her. She is a good cook! Only too bad I only get to work for her a couple weeks in the summer usually.

My current job: being a veterinary student (er, does financial aid count as getting paid?)
My dream job: I'm aiming for it! Probably would like to be a small animal vet, possibly specializing in "small furries"- rabbits, ferrets, pocket pets.
My favorite job so far: I spent a summer getting paid to survey small mammals on prairies... good pay and I got to be outside ALL the time!
My least favorite job: one word: Petco. Loved getting so much experience with a wide range of animals, but HATED the disrespectful customers and my bipolar manager.

My least favorite job was when i worked as a groom at my former college's hunter/jumper barn. Those poor horses were all donated so most of them were very old and in a lot of pain. The college didn't care, and insisted on pumping them full of meds so that the students could continue to ride them. I only stayed at that college for one semester after they sent my favorite old pony to the meat buyers when he couldn't jump anymore. :(
