I saw someone that makes quilts and that was pretty cool. Just curious what everyone else does with theirs.

Mine are sitting in a ziplock right now. :/ Except the HIT and our first USDAA Q, which are at my office. I kinda want to do something with Summer's ribbons vs just putting them in a bag.

Just not sure what.

Randomly hang them places.

When I'm on it (or they're important) I put them in a shadow box.

That is Auggie's first title so it will stay there. I also have one for his CGC (you can just barely see it behind the NAJ one pictured here), and I'm working on one for his Masters titles. The rest are in a plastic storage box, very carefully stacked in so they don't get all wrinkled and messed up. They are scrapbook storage boxes and I think they are 13x13 or something like that. Ribbons go diagonally and fit right in there. The only one that doesn't fit nicely is the massive oversized new title one from Louisville.

Payton's are all in an identical box. I was very proud the night I needed to go to the store and buy him a ribbon box. I'm hoping one day he'll get a nice MACH display so I haven't bothered to frame anything for him yet... poor Payton.

My mom has shadow boxes like mine to put Georgie's in but she hasn't done it yet.

ETA: I just remembered, I think Auggie also has a smaller one for his RN... unless I was like "I don't even care about rally" and took it apart to use the frame for something else. =P I vaguely recall thinking I would take it apart but can't remember if I actually did...

Rubbermaid boxes in the attic... :/

Though I do have two that mean more to me hanging by the mantle. They'll get moved to my office at some point.

We have five ribbons from his first trial just hanging above a window right now. I'd like to shadow box them at some point.

Now what we've been doing is taking the ribbons at the end of the day an taking a picture with them and putting them all back. We have kept one rosette from each different host club.

I don't keep any info on ribbons themselves. I put the stickers with the time, place & all info in a book where I keep track of legs earned, different courses, yps and other dorky stuff.

Caleb's are in one side of the entertainment center, grouped by title. My original plan was to do a shadow box for each title along with the prizes he's won, but hubby thought that would take up too much room. My plan now is to wait until Caleb retires, then either have them made into a quilt or I'll make a wreath out of them.

I no longer take my ribbons unless they are big title ribbons. Between the dogs and horses, I have 3 big crates of ribbons sitting in the basement.

I take the ribbons, take a picture, and return them to the trial.

Most of them are hanging on my bedroom wall. Pirate got a big trophy at Nationals last year and I have a few ribbons hanging on that too. It's sitting on my dresser.

The most recent title ribbon (and she got a 1st for that) for Kimma hangs on the AKC title certificate, and that all hangs on a wall.

Bubbles' AOM rosette hangs on the corresponding photo of her on our mantle, and Pen's ribbon from getting his TDI is on his CGC certificate, also on our mantle.

The rest sit in a box :p

I did have Meg's PDCH ribbon displayed along with the plaque our club gives out to members who receive championships, but I even took that down recently because the ceiling fan was making the ribbon flap at night, and I'm a very light sleeper. I'll stick it back up when fan season is over. And not just because it matches the colors in my room perfectly :p

When we moved recently, I had the three tubs of ribbons - one of ribbons from showing H/J stuff in high school, one of dressage ribbons with Tristan and a few other horses, and one of agility ribbons. After pulling out the big year end ribbons, and one ribbon that had very special meaning to me, I asked my dad to take the old H/J ribbons to the dump. The rational part of my brain knew there was zero reason to keep them (they had been sitting in that same tub since we'd moved the last time), but the emotional part of me couldn't actually dump them myself. And that was when I realized I did not need to keep accumulating more. I'm not crafty. I don't like ribbons hung all over the walls. If I had a house of my own with a designated dog room, I might try to do something on the walls.

I don't have very many, but they are currently sitting in a manilla envelope along with my bibs from our skijor races and his certificates for his RN and CGC until I figure out what I want to do with it all.

Pinterest has some great ideas...quilts and collages and wreaths and such.

I LOVE this idea, but I'm not sure I would want to spend much on something like it.

I used to hang them from a shelf in my bedroom. When I moved out, they all went into a box.

Buzz's last ribbons were hanging for a bit but now they're in a closet because it was too hard.

Gabby's first/currently only ribbons are hanging on a door.

I also stopped taking ribbons for a while.

Yeah I stopped taking her placement ribbons if there were no Qs attached to them. Still am taking the Q ribbons for now though!

I like the window box idea with the 'major' ribbons. I might try to do something like that. I definitely don't want to hang ALL the ribbons but the major ones would be nice, I think...

I don't know if I ever took non Q placements. I probably didn't know that was a thing in the beginning, haha.

A very odd glimpse at my childhood...
USDAA Juniors medals!

4-H Trophies

I used to have a photo of Buzz's NADAC shelf. But I can't find it.
