Okay, looking at this young lady, what breeds do you see? Because of the tan, I think, the shelter has her listed as a Border collie/GSD. I, honestly, don't see it, but I don't know. What do you think?

This is Lara:

Here's what it says about her:
Lara is just a young mum, a little over a year old who has just come in with 3 puppies from her first litter. She is a sweet little dog, but nervous, had these pups way too young, probably after her first heat. Lara is just a baby herself and is looking for a loving, permanent home.
She's at the shelter with a litter of puppies, and here's what each of them look like:
Gaspar:

Lulu:

Yuki:

You can also see a video that shows a little of all of them here:
Adopt a Border Collie: Yuki: Petfinder

What do you think? I personally see Border Collie/Aussie. In the puppies espicially, but also in the mother. They don't know what the sire is, or don't have him there. Take your guesses! I know we'll never really know, but it's worth guessing!

I definitely see Aussie. Not sure what else. I used to have a black & tan Aussie client who's head looked almost exactly like that.

In the puppies, I see border collie, myself. And in the body of the mama (Don't know if you looked at the video or not), she seems to be a bit more lanky then an aussie is... I don't know, all I know is those pups, and the mama, are sooo cute! lol

I still can't really tell the mom's body from the video, so I was just commenting on the head ;)

Maybe I'm crazy, lol, I could have swore I saw her body in the video... But not much of it, just a flash really...

I've been talking to the shelter about 'em, and may get to go meet the Mama and the puppies, so, I'll know better then.

Even from her head shot it's hard to tell. But I don't see any GSD.

Just looking at Lulu, she could be mistaken for a purebred border collie. Definitely some border collie genes in mom.

I'm going to go with 'general herding breed mix' for mamma, lol!

Seriously, I see bc in mom's body style but I think there's something else in there too. We get a lot of those down here... could be bc, could be something else. If it's black and tan then the shelter usually calls it a GSD mix. Those pups are hard to tell. They look like rolly polly cuties to me.

They look a lot like Kim's (Charliesmom) Pheonix did at that age. He was fat like that, lol. And he's a border collie/aussie mix. He looks almost all bc now to me, though.

This.

They do look a lot like Phoenix and his littermates did at that age.

They're adorable :)

Maybe I'm crazy, but I see a little spaniel in there..not fully half I don't think, but maybe a grandparent or great grandparent or something. Definitely some aussie though.

They sure are cute. This shleter wont adopt out to me, though. Our dogs aren't all altered, so it's a no. Too bad, I was really looking forward to Lulu... Looks like I'll have to buy my BC from a breeder.

I definately see the border collie in mom, and a little bit in the pups, though not as much. For some reason I am seeing a little black lab in mom too, something about her muzzle and eyes...but bc colouring for sure.
maybe auzzie in pups?
