They're an Australian hunting dog called the 'Bull Arab' (named after the founding dogs Bull & Arab, the paper that advertised the litter made a typo and labeled them 'Bull Arab' pups instead of pups by Bull & Arab).

Those pictures are from an Australian site called Boardogs.com. Bull Arabs are not a breed but rather a particular mix breed used for pig hunting in Australia. They apparently make good pets too but the people breeding them aren't the most ethical breeders in the world.

Here's the site...http://www.boardogs.com/Bull_Arabs.htm

"They were a cross that consisted of English Bull Terrier, Greyhound and English Pointer or Shorthaired Pointer"
Unique dogs! But don't look at the hunting photos unless you have a strong stomach. Tearing live pigs apart is not very humane in my book!

Are the pretty rare? I would assume so, huh. I like going to the dog breed info website and looking at some of the rare breeds out there. There is a breed of Bulldog (the blue blood bulldog I believe) that there is only between 125-150 of around and most of them are owned by one person.

I have researched the alapaha blue blood bull dog in the past, and they are very rare. Wouldnt mind getting me one.

I would love one too, but with one guy controlling the whole breed what are the odds that we could score one.

I don't believe they're rare (the bull arabs), but not exactly common either. LOL Does that make sense? People don't usually have them as pets but there are plenty of them available if someone wanted one (many people involved in hunting breed them).

Here are my thoughts:

1st dog = Bull Terrier x (not sure what else)
2nd dog = Whippet/Greyhound and English Pointer
3rd dog = English Pointer x (not sure what else)

holy cow that first dog is built and either has gargantuan pecs (for a dog) or has testicles growing from his chest...either would make very effective "this is how manly I am" statements. Cool lookin' dogs!
