Fishbone would be skank!!!!

The Primus show I got a VIP pass that the band signed. I made the mistake of answerring the phone on the way out to the show and had to be at work first thing, not at noon like it was arrnged. If I could have gone to work at noon I would have gone drinking with them on their dime.

I still have the signed backstage pass, it started in AK went through TX and DC before coming back to AK.

I couldnt get into Bella Fleck and the Flecktones.

Oh . . . Bela plays in Knoxville just about every year. I keep wanting to go, but haven't been able to so far. Charley always says he wants to go, but when it comes to actually spending money on it . . . They play at either the old Bijou or the Tennessee Theatre; small venues with fabulous acoustics. We did go to see Randy Newman there a couple of years ago. I highly recommend catching that one if you ever get the chance.

I loved going to concerts and had all kinds of music tastes over the years... Led Zeplin, Robin Trower, Jethro Tull, Pink Floyd, Steve Miller, Pat Benetar, Journey, Rod Stewart, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Chaka Khan, Heart.. (roomate dated Howard Leise, fun watching them go to a nice conservative restaurant for brunch in stage clothes/ makeup. It took 2 cans of Aqua Net between the 2 of them to do their hair) Commodores, Ric James, Prince, Tower of Power, B.B. King, Gladys Knight, Smokey Robinson, Miles Davis... ex husband and I big fans, named my son after him, Boz Skaggs, Herbie Hancock, Chuck Mangione, Chick Corea, Al Demiola, Lenny Kravitz, Hank Williams Jr., Willie Nelson, Bonnie Raitt, Dave Mathews, recently John Mayer and Sheryl Crow, to name some of my favorites. Wow, I either sound like a groupie or just old! Lol.
