Well I have learned in the passed that having "show animals" can stress you out to no end lol
Even since I was showing my horses - they needed to be SUPER cared for during show season.. this means practically wrapping them in bubble wrap until the show lmao! Well, not really but you become paranoid on how you ride them, how their training schedule does. Any ripple in this puts you and your horse back LOTS during the show season lol
Same goes with dogs..
my gawd.. Poor Riot lol I try and relax and let him figure stuff out for himself, but its SOO hard to not "mother" him lmao
An example would be the other day when we went swimming with my bf at the conservation area. lol
Riot decided that the snake swimming along was a motorized stick and jumped into the lake and tried grabbing it lol
I was SOO terrified that the snake would bite him.. not thinking that hes got SOO much darn fur that IF the snake did manage to get at him, I doubt it would be able to break to skin, and second of all - we have no poisonous snakes around here! lol
More irrational fears -
biggest one would be drowning.
Even with my extensive swimming background, I find my self terrified of sunken logs in lakes. I can't bring myself to swim over them often lol If there is an alternative route, I take it. Call me VERy odd.. but I just have some sort of fear where they will shoot up from the water lol No CLUE where I get this idea from lol
Because of the drowning fear - I can never bring myself to watch ANY parts of movies where there is a drowning involved, or heavy rain with a steam etc etc. Like that moving The Storm. Although it looks great, I can't bring myself to watch it. Titanic I have a hard time watching as well as, there is a spot in Black Beauty where its pouring rain and Black Beauty wont go over the bridge.. I can't watch that part lol
