As long as my dogs know come and stay, I don't really care about the other stuff lol.

Neither of my dogs know many things, or anything fancy lol.

Molly~
Sit
Lay down
Shake
Come
Stay
Go upstairs (very useful when she's at the door as people are coming in)
Okay (to break her stay or whatever)
Drop it

Lucy is only 5 months old, so these things are still a bit of a work in progress~
Sit
Lay down
Come (not 100%)
Stay (again, pretty shaky)
Watch me
Bring it here

Still working on Come and Stay for Lucy, as of now she only comes if she thinks it's worth it, we're getting there with stay but she usually breaks it at the smallest distraction.

You guys are good.

With my 8 months old Shih

I'm still working on

Sit
and
Jump

Go Pee seems to work fairly well especially in reinforcing the behaviour. i.e. when he's out to pee, if he's distracted, I say go pee and he seems to go back to looking for a place to do his business.

The road is long...

Ripley and Dakota both know:
Sit/stay
Down/stay
Stand
Heel/finish
Recall
Jump up/off something
Go to their kennels on command
Leave it
Off
Target

Dakota knows:
A countless number of objects by name
The difference between something that is light, and something that is dark (if I put a white cup and dark cup in front of him and ask him for the light one, he will give me the white one even though he doesn't know the object by name)
The names of family members, close friends and my dad's favorite basketball team.
Jump, weave, tunnel, chute, wall, table, tire (agility)
Pick it up (I point at an object that he doesn't know by name)
Hold it (hold onto whatever is in his mouth)
Bam! (play dead)
Clean up (put his and Ripley's bowls in the kitchen sink)
Poker Face! (hard to describe... it's a certain bemused expression he does when he rests his chin on a chair.)
Around (circle tightly around my right side and prepare for another command)
And dozens more, but I don't have the time or energy to list them all. Basically, I talk to him and he understands. :)

Ripley is the trickmaster extraordinaire.. his list coming soon lol

My guys know the basics. (sit, stay, yadda, yadda)

Plus come...unconventional commands.

Get over here - if for some odd reason the stars are not aligned and they have the bad sense to ignore a come command from me, they get this command instead. Which produces dogs that quickly get their furry behinds over to me with all too inocent looks.

Knock it off - Stop what your doing right now.

What are you doing? - Which causes them to look at me and tilt their heads, very cute

Bring it - useful when the puppy picks something up, I'd rather have him bring it to me than swallow it

Not In the House - Don't play here, save it 'till we get outside

Where are your wings? - I call them my "Furry Angels" so when I say this they prick up their ears. Makes me laugh everytime.

Where's your tail? - Ask the dogs where their tails are and they whip around and point to it with thier nose. I've used this trick many times when people are afriad of the "big" dogs. hard to be scared at a dog that can 'find his tail'. lol

Over Here - Wander over to my general vacinity. Not a Come Command, just a come nearer command.

Go In Your Room - They stay in the bedroom while I'm gone. So they run in there when I say this.

And yes, I talk to my dogs in sentances. lol

My 11 week pup, who weve had for almost 2 weeks now knows:
Sit
Shake a paw

We are trying with some hope"come" but his nose distracts him sometimes.
Working on "lay down" but this is not going so well.
"stay" works about 50% of the time.

Oh yeah.....and he pees outside about 80% of the time. Thats a great trick, huh?:)
