I've been without internet for most of the summer so forgive my lack of photos. Things were looking a bit grim for a while there but I'm happy to say I think my dogs and I are back on our feet.
To kick off the summer, Pit's anal gland infected and burst. Then he ate an onion and really freaked the vet out with how bad things were looking. I spent a few hundred on tests and xrays to figure out what the problem was, but it turns out he got better on his own after about 15 days. Then it was off to the dental specialist to repair his broken canine tooth. While there, the dentist discovered his upper carnassial tooth was badly infected from a break a couple years ago, so I got that fixed too and forked out another couple thousand dollars.
Amidst all my dog's health adventures, I lost my apartment due to a really foul event. We scrambled for a month to find somewhere to go that would accept 3 large dogs, but alas, the world doesn't appear to like them as much as I do. We were homeless for the month of September and held on by staying at multiple friends houses, sleeping at work and spending nights in the car.
Come October, we finally found a house to live in and are in the process of making this new place home.
I have to say, I can't believe how well the animals took all of this. Not ONCE did they stress out despite moving from place to place on a near daily basis. Heck, they took the whole experience in stride - much better than I did myself. Even though Pit is the cause of most of my summer woes, I can't even begin to describe how much I love him after all of this and am so grateful to have such wonderful people in my life to help me through rough times.
Sorry, I didn't mean to pour you all my bottle of "whine", so I hope the majority of you guys skipped right to the pictures!

My grumpy old poop, currently suffering from the doggy flu, helps me paint by giving me a dead stare followed by a serious nap.
