anyone feed their dogs the Wellness dog food? We thought about switching our dogs over to the Wellness...and starting our new puppy out on it as well. We were going to go with the Innova but price wise its pretty expensive and my fathers store sells the wellness which is a perk because we can get it at cost ;)

I was wondering if anyone has heard anything on it, good? bad? it seems like its an excellent dog food We brought a little sample bag home for our dogs to try just a little bit and all of them scarfed it down lol but then again they'd eat anything...

Does your fathers store sell any other brands?

There are foods better then Wellness.

If this is the cheapest option for you, It is better then a lot of other foods out there.

If you have any other options let us know and we can let you know if any are better.

Good Luck

It's not worth the price you have to pay for it. There are higher quality foods out there that will cost much less.

I tried Wellness with our puppy and had horrible diarrhea problems. A lot of people on this board have had similar experiences.

Does your father's store sell Canidae? Solid Gold? Eagle Pack?

For some odd reason Canidae is sticking in my head, I think he may sell that...The puppy is actually now on Eagle pack(shes still with the breeder)...I haven't seen that in any stores though...do you have to special order that? Has anyone heard about the Innova? Is that really one of the top dog foods? My fathers store is basically like a farmers agway so they get most of the cheap brands of food (no one out here really likes to spend a lot of money on what they feed their dogs :( ) thats why I was surprised when I saw he carried Wellness...hmm so I guess I should scratch that off my list of things to pick up tomorrow

Both Innova and Eagle Pack are very high quality foods. You can check out their websites for store locators.

My only experience with Wellness was with my cats. To sum it up that is the first time I ever saw four cats throw up concurrently as a result of feeding.
