It was bound to sooner or later. I tried to avoid it as much as I could, but it just kept coming up, nagging at me over and over again until finally, with a heavy sigh, I gave in and gave up. I filled out the requisite forms and coughed up the demanded amount of money, jumped through the proper hoops and made sure all my ducks were in a row.
I got all dressed up and fancy looking, donned a large gown, a cardboard hat, and sat in an auditorium for 3 hours.
On May 16, 2009 at 11:36 AM, my name was called, my time was up. I walked across the stage, got my diploma, and graduated from one Texas A&M University.
Now to start an MBA while I apply to vet school again (missed acceptance this cycle by 4 [out of 300] points and missed the alternate list by 0.238 points). Third time's the charm though.
