Weird X-mas gifts you've received

This wasn't a weird gift but I was little surprised.. one year my mom got me a topsy tail hair thing. It was in my stocking or something.. I remember looking at it, and looking at her, and then yelling at her because she gave me what I thought was a stupid gift.. what a rotten child I was ... I apologized later but still.. wow.. what a odd gift.. lol

Another time I got this larger then life stuffed standing Garfield. I was so excited to get it. I was like 7 or 8. The next day my mom decided to give it to charity... said I had to many stuffed animals the way it was..lol... so mean :lol-sign:

-When I was like 10 years old, my uncle gave me an "I love Jesus" hair scrunchie holder... it was this wooden shelf with hooks for hair scrunchies...

One year my husband gave me ... himself!! He taped a red bow onto his forhead, and tied a big red ribbon around his chest, then showed up in the room half-naked! :yikes: I have never laughed so hard in my life, I actually rolled on the floor laughing because it hurt my stomach so much

I havent gotten many weird gifts. Im the one giving them . Like one year I bought my bestfriend Lindsay Zoo Pal plates. I really don't remember why but she to this day has them hanging on her wall hehe. And every year I buy my other bestfriend Kevin a huge pack of chapstick and a huge bag of swedish fish. You should see the boys eyes light up lmao.

Mark gave me himself one year for our anniversary . I think the wierdest gift I ever got was when I was 15 years old and my grandma got me a tape with all these different songs with my name in it (it was made especially for little kids). I was so embarrassed because than my brothers took it, MADE COPIES, and played it forever to make fun of me! I'm sure their's still a copy floating around somewhere.

I can't think of any really strange gifts, but my husband seems to get me the same parfume and lotions from Victoria's Secret every year. I think he forgets that he got me the exact same scent the year before and the year before that etc. etc. Needless to say, I have quite the collection and could start selling on Ebay.

I had a cousin who was famous for giving really REALLY bad gifts. She sadly died this year and so we're all going to give each other one crappy gift in her honour. LOL
Anyway...she once gave me a tiny little note book (was the size of a credit card and about the width of a pen) and a ball point pen (one of those clear plastic pens you get in packs of 50 for about $2). And that was it.

That same year she gave my stepfather (note that he's a MAN)...a library bag, a small doll made out of cotton reels, a diary that was for that year (so only had a few days left before it was out of date) and a butterfly brooch.

Oh there has been so many....

Each year my brother and I compete to get each other the most hideous thing possible for Christmas..

Last year I got a round, blue plastic framed Jesus clock... In the middle is a photocopied picture of Jesus with the Sacre Coeur, his arms out stretched... It is seriously UGLY! But makes me laugh every time I look at it! And apparently it only cost $1:50!! Bargain!!

Christians mum bought me a glass Penguin last year for Christmas... Bearing in mind I HATE birds!! They terrify me, and she knew this!! Plus I am not a big ornament fan, they take dusting!! Why would you buy someone who is frightened of birds, a glass Penguin???! Odd!
