Agree 100% with the Golden Retriever , but saddened by the stories from those who bought from other than a good breeder . I'm thrilled that they are not listed higher in the most popular list anymore !!!! Fewer from bad BYBs, Pet Shops and Puppy mills !!!!!

hmmm they are a bit strange in some of their breed descriptions. I wouldn't say the JRT one is all that accurate.

The actual breed review of the Chow seems ok. Some of the comments, however, are lacking

I'd better inform both of my "not family dogs" that they needs to stop getting so many lovins, lest they walk all over me.

I'm not crazy about the site after really giving it a good look.

It's based on user reviews, which is highly subjective. One person who had ONE dog that didn't live up to standard gives it a rating of one star and it affects the rating of the breed as a whole. (Though not by much, I was hard pressed to find a breed that got any less than 5 stars). Most of the ratings are of course based on family pets, and who doesn't love their dog inspite of their flaws. Most people are not objective reviewers.
