This pup was found to have a cleft and has matured into a beautiful 4 1/2 lb beauty. She was bottle fed for 4 months and then started to eat solids there after

That's good news! A lot of pups with cleft palates don't make it early on...so this little girl was very fortunate to have someone willing to take the extra mile to do all of those bottle feedings! Great job!

Great! I assume you decided to keep her? I would after going through all that to save her. Did you find good homes for everyone else?

i learned just before my pups that they can have a cleft pallet i thought that was really neat just for the simple fact that i have a cleft myself. its just awsome that you pulled her through cause i think most are put down. i couldnt imagine putting one down for that if i had a pup like that. does it affect them at all once they have been weened, i know i cant blow or suck that well, is it the same for them?????
