The Aussie rep (Aussie Rescue & Placement Helpline) came by with a trainee and her four-legged assistant. As we are still partially fenceless I consider myself lucky to have gotten the home visit at all.
Everything went well. Her assistant pointed out some obvious dog proofing problems we need to address, but we don't seem to have any show stoppers.
The visit was very low key and informative. I really like the rep, she's somebody I'll have no problem working with after the placement. She already has a dog in mind which just went into a foster home; a black and white bi-color. Sounds good to me.
I can't make heads or tails out of this last fencing estimate. I'll be on the phone with the contractor first thing Monday morning.
