We have a heartbeat!

Well I wasn't supposed to get into the dr. until Oct 9, but I had some spotting over the weekend so the dr. got me in today. I got an ultrasound and we saw a heartbeat!

The baby is measuring 6 weeks 3 days. By LMP I am 7 weeks, but the dr. is not changing my due date, which is May 18.

My HCG level was 84,000! But my progesterone was 21. It went from 30 to 23 to 21. So the dr. is putting me on a progesterone supplement just to be on the safe side.

Has anyone here taken progesterone supplements before?

That's great! I know the progesterone can have some yucky side effects (but they are the same side effects you get when pregnant, as far as I know--you just experience more), but I haven't taken it. Good luck!

For the progesterone supplements, it's really not a big deal as far as I know.

Yay congrats!!! Reggin I am demanding you wait 10 days past your due date. Then Your baby and I will share a b day. I remember seeing the heart beat for the first time. We just werent able to hear it at our last apoint last month. We should be able to hear it this time.

Have you been able to get an appointment Reggin? Mine wasn't until Oct. 9, but my dr got me in since I had the spotting.
