I like to say I'm getting a new roommate on Tuesday. Anyway, she came in and we fell in love. She's such a sweetheart. I can't wait for her to get here!!! Oh I'm so excited.

Ladies and gentlemen, Loki.

Lookit that mug! She's adorable.

You guys are ready for all the struggles that come with owning a bully-breed, I hope? I happen to think they're worth it all, but it takes a lot dealing with finding places to live, insurance, occasional people on the street giving you dirty looks, etc. Not to mention potential for dog aggression - but hopefully she's older and well temperament tested.

She looks like a lovebug!

I grew up with a pit and I know what it's like. I remember my mom being on the local news telling them that the dogs are as bad as the owners make them and that's it.

Loki lives with 3 other dogs, 4 cats, and two small children (one is 5 and one is 7). She's fine with all of them. The foster mom said she shows no signs of aggression whatsoever. Literally zero. She also said she shows signs of hunger because she'll catch her with her paws on the counter top looking for crumbs. Lol. But yes, I'm absolutely ready. We've waited a year for a dog and I'm so excited. I was heartbroken when she left! We have to wait until Tuesday to see her again. :-(

Awwww lookit that face! The forehead wrinkles and pink nose *melts* Congratulations, I'm sure she'll fit in just fine! And I'm glad she gets a permanent home for Christmas, it's the best gift you can give!

Just remember to keep an eye out. I'm not trying to belittle your experience or make any assumptions- I've just known people to assume their adult APBT is not DA because it hasn't shown any signs- and then things can get very, very ugly. DA is not something that can be eliminated because the dog has a good owner. It's instinct and genetics.

Okay, enough of the "lecturing." She's adorable and I wish you many happy years with her. I hope you can get her home with you soon.

Dang Nabit, We need a "LIKE" button!

DA can pop up whenever. Say they are not showing any signs of DA, and then BAM they hit three years of age and all he'll breaks loose.

She is a beauty! Congratulations on waiting and finding the right dog. :) Don't hesitate to come and ask questions once you have her, either!
