Always keep you gun pointed in a safe direction and always assume the safety will fail. Keep those in mind and you'll never have a serious accident.
Does that involve checking the woods behind your house, if you have them? Does anyone walk into the forest and check if there are people in there. Even if you can aim something can always go wrong. I'm asking, because living in the US we had people in our neighbourhood who would shoot their gun (towards the woods) in their back yard and hit targets, because "it was fun". As kids - and im sure we werent the only ones - we would roam are the woods and stuff. Our parents told us to ALWAYS STAY AWAY from that because they shot their guns and didnt check to see if there were people in the woods. Of course as kids we never stayed away (there was a pretty darn cool tree)
until they actually started shooting while we were back behind their property
Scared the living daylights out of us and we never went back there
Stupid neighbours totally ruined everything. (I even left my sweater back there and was to scared to go back)
After the moms of the neighbourhood went over there and asked them to please check out the closer woods of their house because kids play back there and were almost shot at today. They just told the moms no, they would not - the kids should suck it up and not play out there. (its not their property) And that they had every right go shooting around their yard in any way they wanted. :yikes::yikes: The police wouldnt do anything either.
Thats not normal though, right? I mean if people go out and shoot at targets they check whats going on behind their targets?
