Way scarey...OMG

Well I'm sure some of you will laugh when I say that video game scared the cr** out of me today...I only started the first of the game...it's called F.E.A.R the X-Box360 version and obivously I didn't pay attention to the reviews on this game, it's touted as the scariest and most gory game of the year. I knew the game was gonna be scarey but I didn't think it was this bad. What did I do? I decided that it would be a good idea to turn off all the lights turn my surround sound system on and play the game. BIG mistake on my part. I got to a part where a creepy thingy jumped out at me and my controller went flying across the room...now I have a huge bump on my head from hitting the celing when I jumped off the couch . So I think I'll be playing this game with all the lights in the house on and the sound turned down from now on...lol

Yeah, after I gave myself a heart attack and came down off the celing I turned the game off and played Tony Hawks Project 8....I'm sure you've heard of the Doom series, this game by far passes Doom :yikes: . You'd think with a game named F.E.A.R you'd figure that it was gonna be pretty scarey...lol

That game creeped ME out. I was expecting it to be a little spooky, not so much as Doom 3 . . . . But dang. 0.o My friend and I did the same thing you did - started it up late at night with all the lights off, with it on the surround sound system and the biggest TV.

LOL i used to do that SAME thing a 7 or 8 years ago when i'd play DOOM on my N64...turned off all the lights...scary LOL
and it had bad graphics..so i can just imagine

LOL, so I tried to play it again...I'm stubborn, and want to make sure I won't sleep for a week...lmao...I can't get past the first level without freaking out, I even have all the lights on and no surround sound...I'm such a sissy

what's it about? i keep seeing it when i go to the game store but i don't have that system and i think the computer version would destroy my little computer. is it creepy scary? or is it 'things pop out a lot' scary?

I can handle gore to, but it's about paranormal activity stuff, this guy that your chasing through the whole game is the one who is controlling the enemies your facing...along with the creepy music and sound effects it's way too much for me....things pop out at you, your always on the edge of you seat waiting for things to happen
