On the plus side you could train it to throw poop at specific people.

Between the behavior issues which inevitably arise with age, the disease, and the biting I can honestly say no. I'm pretty sure I'd rather light my hair on fire and eat broken glass than deal with a monkey for 20 years.

I've known people with capuchins and spider monkeys, and honestly they took super great care of their pets (they had giant heated greenhouses with 30' banana and guava trees ).

Personally, that's a bit much for my taste though. lol. Monkeys creep me out. I think it's because they look vaguely human, but not all the way human. Sort of like ventriloquist dummies. *shudders*

I still want me some tegus.

Nooo. No way. One of my friend's had two monkeys. Her uncle was really rich (so was she) and he liked to buy her all kinds of weird exotic pets. Anyways, I can NOT see why people want monkeys now. Awfully messy animals. They get into pretty much constant trouble too.
