We went for our first, simi-offleash walk! 40% offleash and 50% with a 20ft line dragging.

She has improved her recall SO much! She now has about a 99% reliable come down! Woot.

Entering the field.

Coming on command.

Offleash time!!!

That last picture is my favorite - it deserves a frame!

It sounds like you and Lizzie are doing great together! How's the agility coming?

BB, the agility is coming along nicely. Only trouble we are having is the *darn* teeter... She does NOT like to have it go down with her on it. lol We are slowly working on this.

Thank you, everyone! :)

That's been our biggest sticking point as well. A trainer in our agility club loaned me a great article that I unfortunately had to return (and of course, can't find anywhere online). It was about training for demand, not just tolerance (teaching the dog to want the teeter to bang, not just put up with it). The article did a great job of explaining some ideas, and, even with only 1 - 2 times a week on the equipment, solved our problem. Now my biggest issue is that Meg has such a big reward history on the teeter, she runs right to it even when there are other obstacles around (and she occasionally leaps onto the high end just to make the bang:rolleyes: ). You may want to ask around and see if someone has the article - I think it was from Clean Run.
