Waiting eagerly for a garden!

The weather here is so mild that I'm thinking about gardening already.

I love gardening! My mom keeps a great veggie garden, and I love working in it. Unfortunately, my own yard gets a lot of shade except for a small patch. I'm gonna fill that spot with herbs this year! I would absolutely love the availability of fresh herbs, and have a lot of perennials in mind.

I'm also thinking about some shade tolerant plants for the rest of the yard.

Winter! Hurry up and be over!

I am not a gardener lol. I can't keep plants alive. But I do remember when we had a vegetable garden when I was younger and I planted two carrot seeds too close and they grew and twisted around each other lol

but herb gardens are great. What kind of herbs are you thinking about?

I also love to garden, but since I got my first puppy last summer, I'm too worn out with training and walking him and playing with him to work in it!!! Where I live you can gareden all year long, and it's really neglected. I'm hoping that once Apu is a little older, he'll sleep under a tree like a good boy while I plant tomatoes....whishful thinking?

I wish I had a green thumb. My mom is garden hound. One year she planted watermelons and went away for 2 wks on vacation and asked me to watch them and to pick them before they got to big. Ya right, I totally forgot about them and she came back to these gigantic watermelons sitting in her garden.. lol
