I don't know what is wrong with them but Beezer and Belle have both been vomitting.

it happens about once a week each for the past couple of weeks. They are still eating, drinking, going to the bathroom normally, solid poops, not lethargic, still playing together.

I don't know what is up.

They just throw up yellow bile.

What could be causing it?

Well... we did have to buy them lamb and rice Solid Gold (small bag) one time because they were out of the Beef one and I can't find it anywhere else. I guess that is maybe when it started but they are back on the beef now.

Mostly in late morning is when it happens... usually the time of day that they are very lazy and lounging.

no they don't usually get sick on the same day...

Belle got sick yesterday and Beezer got sick today. Sometimes it's a few days apart but never on the same day. but it is usually always around the same time of day usually.

They haven't usually eaten yet... we put food in their dishes but they won't eat it until the evening. No idea why but they have always been like that. Tried to get them to eat in the morning and evening but they don't ever eat in the morning.

It's been my experience that bile before eating meant that they were hungry and the juices in the tummy were causing something much like acid reflux. But if they are given the option to eat and don't... I don't really know?

Awhile back Banzai was having these problems where he would be throw up first thing in the morning, no matter how late dinner was the night before (they are not on a fixed schedule). After the third consecutive morning in a row we took him to the vet and were instructed to give him a pepcid right before bedtime for a few days and then presto, he was fine. Hasn't happened again.

Hmmm interesting.

Perhaps since they don't seem interested in eating their actual food in the mornings... maybe if I give them a few biscuits so they have something in their tummies. maybe that will help. Maybe I will put the biscuits in their dishes with their food and see if that jump starts the eating.

They both appear fit in your photos, so it's not like they are losing out on nutrients. How much do you feed them in a day? Maybe if you just gave a biscuit in the morning it would help settle their tummies?

Hi: I think the kids have a little bug ( virus)

Ok, have any dogs been around them or the yard in the past few weeks.
It sounds to me like they have a bug / viral of some kind.

If the stools look good and no undigested foods are coming up.... It would be an OLD fashioned virus.

Unless they like to eat poop?

At my Doggie Hotel, I see this every so often. I keep my yard area picked up 3-4 times per day. We have straw for the doggies in the outside areas.
When a new dog arrives sometimes they bring a virus with them.. They look fine and they are Not vomiting. They may have been a carrier and introduced a virus to my yard... ( in the poop)

So, if both of them seem to all of the sudden have this problems... i don't think it is related to the food change at all.

Nothing you can do except to ride it out.

You can give an anti-acid pill to them in the morning...
This is good: for humans -
Fomotidine - 10 mg
You can give 1/2 tablet for dogs under 20 lbs or a full tablet if they are over 20 lbs. ( like tagament) ( pepcid)
This is safe and can be given daily for a few weeks if needed.

Make sure they keep drinking and don't get loose stools...

You should probably go to the vet if it continues. I did not pay as much attention as I should have to Emma's condition before she was diagnosed and now she's gone. Whenever you see something unusual and it persists, take them to the doc.
