Holy cow! (I don't know why a cow is holy). That took me a second to realize what I was seeing. How neat is that?! I love it. I'm going to show my mom when I see her tomorrow.

I've been looking for a copy of that for years! Thanks for reminding me to resume the search, Smkie. Maybe I can find a copy if I keep looking at Edward McKay, the used bookstore in Knoxville. They get a lot of neat books, being so near the UT campus.

If you find a copy of Pure Heart, Enlightened Mind, the journal of Moira Soshin O'Halloran, a young Irish-American woman who journeyed to Japan, was accepted into a Zen monastery as a monk and became a Buddhist saint, grab it! I can't find my copy, so dog-eared and worn. I can only think I left it somewhere that someone who needed it would pick it up. Even though I've read it many times I'm keeping an eye out for a replacement at Edward McKay's! http://www.gratefulness.org/giftpeople/ohalloran.htm

Saje, I think you'd really like this book too. I think you'll find her a bit of a kindred spirit.

My daughter read the first copy i had of the dun cow when she was in the hospital and it got wet and was ruined. later she found a copy and was so smug about it..she didn't give it to me either which I thought she should have done. Next time I find one I will send it along. I will watch for your Pure Heart too..
