Next month I am moving from Long Island to Virginia. I've found myself (and Dutch of course) and appartment, and I'll be going down next week for an interview at a local shelter. My plan is to sign a short term lease, and look into buying a house.
I was wondering if anyone here lives, or has lived there, and could offer some insight/feelings on the area (Richmond specifically). This is my first big move, and I'm both nervous and excited. Any encouraging words would be much appreciated!
