Veterinary Customer Review Web Site

Hey guys,

Is there any such thing on the web as a site that reviews vets and their offices?

We've just finally found a wonderful vet for Cissy and Tamlyn, but we want to make sure to check him out a little more thoroughly just in case. We also want to see if other people had anything to say about the clinic we used to use and add our own feedback because they're terrible!

You are wise to do your research...I have heard many horror stories.

Thanks Leslie! I already looked through there and it seems that there isn't too much info besides the "need-to-know" type. I was looking for something where people review their vets.

I always like to make sure my babies are well taken care of, which is why I'm researching big time right now. I'm surprised there isn't any kinda of site so far. Perhaps I'll start one myself if I don't see any!

Go for it! I would have used such a site. The .gov site I found very hard to navigate.

i know...its tough to find that info!!

we naturally just went to the local vet, since we have heard good things about them here and there....

now i know it IS a good place just from word of mouth...the woman we got oakley from asked what vet we were going to, and when i told her she goes, "ahh yes, good place, good man!" - and she lives like 3 hrs from there!!!

when we went to petco to get oakley a bath, the person who had written his shot dates hadnt written the year down, so they were gonna call, and were looking down the list of vets, and couldnt find mine...the lady asked another one where to find the number, and the other was like "what??? he's not on there?? that is so weird! thats a good place!"

so, id start just asking random people - local shelters, dog owners you run into, etc etc, either they will have no idea what you are talking about, or they can offer you some kind of 'review'.


also, going there is obviously the best way to find out....our place has some new dude apparently, and my bro said oakley wasnt liking him too much, cause he just came in there and immediately starting handling him without even letting oakley smell him!!!! The other vet (the place is named after him) took time to let oakley meet him, and play with him a bit before getting down to business....so we are requesting to only let the main guy see oakley since he was really nervous with the other dude...
