Veterinary Clinic News Column Applicant ~ Banning Border Collies?!?!

In my town, people are welcome to submit articles to our vet clinic, and our new page goes out to all the vet patients at my clinic. Well, this article was submitted, but we did NOT publish it:

In the family I live in, we were taught farm dogs don't belong in houses, apartments, or cities. They belong in country farms. Why?

Last month my daughter was attacked by an aggressive border collie. Border Collies don't belond here and they should be banned and euthanized. THEY ARE NOT FOR RIDGETON AND PEOPLE WHO OWN THEM ARE IDIOTS WHO DO NOT UNDERSTAND AGGRESSIVE BREEDS.

Funny thing is, that 'border collie' was one of my patients, and it was actually a giant shnauzer / pointer mix and it wasn't aggressive - the owner claims the girl was bitten because she was yanking on the dog's ears, and though most dogs are normally tranquil, there are a few dogs that can get shoved off the edge.

I'm thinkin' this lady had an over-reaction to her child's bite.

At least on tonight's news they are praising a Pit Bull who saved a man's life from a fire. Also said that the breed gets so many negatives here that they wanted to say it was a great breed when not in the hands of a bad owner .
