very strange problem

I noticed today that i could hear my puppies ears ringing! I had my head close too his and i could hear ringing. My boyfriend and his mom both heard it too.Has anyone ever heard of this before?

my ears ring but i have never heard a dogs! how strange..will be interesting to see if anybody else has heard this. i have damage to my jaw joints that causes mine..doe your dog eat normally or show any tenderness around the base of the ear?

I would be calling my vet.

I called the vet and he will be going in tuesday. Hopefully its nothing to worry about .

That is strange. I was thinking along the same lines as Fila and then I saw the post. LOL. Glad you're taking him to the vet. Let us know. I do hope it won't be anything un-fixable. Good luck!

So, we went to the vet this morning and the vet checked out his ears. According to the vet the ringing is just air flow and sound waves. We are just hearing sound waves, like when you hold a sea shell to your ear. I'm so happy it wasn't something serious. The vet said I have a very health puppy. This is a good news.

I tried listening to my dogs ears, didn't hear anything, but I did get a mouth full of tongue.
