Well, some of your were correct. It is Loki not Lokey. We have found much about him. Today is two weeks since he has come to our home. We have learned much! His stitches came out yesterday and the big baby just layed there and whimpered while the doc took them out. He is so good. He is not quite a year. His birthdate is Febuary 13th 2006. He weighs 60 pounds. Sixty pounds of love. The poop and pee issue is dissolved. We are now keeping him outside while we are gone. My hubby laid down the law when Loki destroyed two one hundred dollar blinds and pooped in the living room. I have tried to tell him that he will learn but NO!!! His mind is made up. Thankfully with our routines Loki is not left alone for more than five hours at a time, and this is only three times a week. He still doesn't bark hardly. Walking him has been wonderful, he has easily learned to be walked (not to lead) by all of us other than the toddler. He quite enjoys our outings. He also is doing fabulous in the car now. Still won't jump though so we are picking his big booty up! He is getting used to us as we are him. The vet has put him on Science Diet, half can and half dry. His coat is looking SO much better. We are so proud!!
Thanks to all of you. I will continue reading and posting!

Congrats, it sounds like you're doing a lot of things right. What kind of situation do you have for him outside though? Is he just on a tie out, or is he in a kennel? Does he have shelter and protection from cold/heat?
