For those of you that knew about our exchange students father in Mexico, who was assaulted and beaten on the head, here is an update. Please keep praying. Juan has come home. His wife and a nurse cares for him. He cannot talk yet, and he has to be fed through a feeding tube in the stomach. He opens his eyes more and more, and he squeezes their hands and holds on. He has had slow improvements. He was beaten on the head in front of his house on halloween, by two guys in masks. The guys have not been caught. Juan was an accountant, and his wife a spanish teacher. She has been off of work to be with him. I doubt that he will be able to collect pay for very long, and their future may be full of difficulty. But the most important thing is his recovery. We were just with them in Mexico this past summer, and it is hard to imagine Juan, now in this condition, and their family in such a difficult, and sad sitiuation. We had their daughter and son as exchange students in our home.We are very close to them. They asked for us to continue to pray for a miracle of recovery for their Dad. thankyou
